About Myself
Hi everyone,
Here's a little bit about myself. Since I was little I have always liked to take things apart, see how they work, and fix them if they're broken. I started liking cars when I was about 15 years old. I went to college for about a year and a half when I realized what I really wanted to do was be a mechanic. I quit college and, without having any experience fixing cars, decided to leave my home town and go to UTI to study to be an automotive technician. I soon realized I had a natural ability to understand and figure out how stuff works. After doing really well at UTI (perfect attendance, many awards, 4.0 average), I went to the BMW STEP program. There were many automotive manufacturers to choose from, but BMW called my attention because of their technology and innovation combined with performance. It was definitely harder than UTI and a much different experience. Much more intense and hands on but definitely worth it if you're planning on having a serious career as a technician. After STEP, I got hired at a dealership and have been working on BMWs for about 10 years now. It's been an incredible experience and transformation from a rookie messing up his first oil change to becoming a BMW Master Technician. Many stories to tell. Hopefully you'll visit this blog to read some of them.
